Bee Orchid

The sad consequences of a purely physical relationship.

The labellum of the bee orchid is disguised as the abdomen of a bee, and the flower also produces a scent that is identical to that of a female bee (prompting the males into ooh-la-la mode). Orchids are notoriously sneaky in their ways of pollination, often breaking little insect hearts.
